Crack Climbing Gloves — Squamish, BC
Squamish, BC

Khoyore

Lost is not a bad thing.

Your skin splits in thin cracks. Off-the-shelf gloves bunch at the knuckle. We fix both. One glove, mapped to your hand, cut to fit it.

Specs

What It
Does

01
Leather. Full.

No padding. No neoprene backing. Full leather across palm and knuckle — thin enough to feel the crack width, thick enough to survive it.

02
Your Hand, Not a Size

21 landmarks mapped per hand. The cut follows your actual knuckle span, finger length, and palm width. Both hands separately — they're not the same.

03
No Excess Material

Bunching at the knuckle kills your jam. Every panel is placed to eliminate dead material at the points of contact.

04
Reviewed Before It Ships

We look at your scans before cutting. If the measurements are off, we ask. Nothing goes to pattern until we're confident.

The Work

01
Damage Mapping

We documented where skin fails across crack widths. Finger locks load the proximal knuckle. Hand jams load the thumb base and fifth metacarpal. The pattern is built around that.

02
Leather Selection

Tested multiple weights and tannages. What's on the glove now is what survived sustained jamming without stretching out of shape or losing tactile feedback.

03
Cut & Stitch

Panels are laser cut to your hand's measurements. Stitched by hand. No production runs — each glove is made once, to one set of measurements.

04
Rock Test

Every new pattern iteration goes on granite before it goes to a customer. If a seam fails or a panel shifts under load, the pattern gets revised.

Nothing Fit.
So We
Made It.

Every jamming glove on the market is a compromised climbing glove. Too thick. Wrong panel placement. Cut for a generic hand.

We climb cracks. We got tired of the options. So we started over — damage map first, pattern second, testing until it held.

Instructions

Your Hand.
Your Glove.

No two hands are the same. We map 21 landmarks on each hand using your phone camera. Place an A4 sheet (standard printer paper) flat on the table. Your hand goes on top. Takes about two minutes.

01
Find A4 paper

Standard printer paper. Lay it flat. Your hand goes palm-down on top of it — the paper gives us real-world scale.

02
Hand flat, palm down

One hand at a time, palm down on the paper. Paper edges must fill the dashed guide box — this is what calibrates the scale. Fingers spread.

03
Hold still

Camera detects landmarks automatically. Hold for a few seconds — it captures when the reading locks in.
